Answer:

The values of given expressions are:

1. gh = -21

2. g^2 - h = 46

3. g + h^2 = 2

4. g + h  = -4

5. h - g  = 10

6. g - h = -10

Step-by-step explanation:

Given values of g and h are:

g = -7

h = 3

<u>1. gh</u>

The two numbers are being multiplied

Putting the values

gh = (-7)(3) = -21

<u>2. g^2-h</u>

Putting the values

=(-7)^2-3\\=49-3\\=46

<u>3. g+h^2</u>

Putting the values

= -7 + (3)^2\\=-7+9\\=2

<u>4. g+h</u>

Putting the values

= -7+3\\=-4

<u>5. h-g</u>

Putting the values

= 3 - (-7)\\=3+7\\=10

<u>6. g-h</u>

Putting values

=-7-3\\=-10

Hence,

The values of given expressions are:

1. gh = -21

2. g^2 - h = 46

3. g + h^2 = 2

4. g + h  = -4

5. h - g  = 10

6. g - h = -10

Answer:

1) - 21

2) 46

3) 2

4) -4

5) 10

6) -10

Step-by-step explanation:

  • g = -7
  • h = 3

1)gh =  - 7(3) \\  \:  \:   \:  \:  \:  \: =  - 21

2){g}^{2}  - h = ( - 7 {)}^{2}  - 3 \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  = 49 - 3 \\   \:  \:  \: = 46

3)g +  {h}^{2}  =  - 7 +  {3}^{2}  \\  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:   =  - 7 + 9 \\   \:  \:  \:  \: = 2

4)g + h =  - 7 + 3 \\ \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:    =  - 4

5)h - g =  3 - ( - 7) \\   \:  \: = 10

6)g - h =  - 7 - 3 \\   \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  \:  =  - 10

Solve for x<br> 3.24x + 8.37x -8.09=7.83<br> X= <br> Round your answer to the nearest hundredth
amm1812

3.24x + 8.37x -8.09=7.83

adding 3.24 x and 8.37x on the right side:

3.24x + 8.37x -8.09=7.83

11.61x -8.09=7.83

adding 8.09 to both sides:

11.61x =7.83+8.09

11.61x =7.83+8.09

11.61x =15.92

dividing both sides by 11.61

Answer : x=1.37

Follow the rules to create two number sequences that go to the fifth term each. Rule 1: Multiply by 2 starting at 10. Rule 2: Su
Aleksandr [31]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Created Sequences

S1: 10 20 40 80 150

s2:24 20

The first term that appears in both sequences is the second term. Both of them equal 20.

I don't think you have to go any further once you get the first term.

Method

S1: Multiply by 2 starting with 10.

10*2 = 20

20*2 = 40

S2: Start at 24 and subtract 4

24 - 4 = 20

20 - 4 = 16

16 - 4 =  12

Can someone explain how to do this please?
Rufina [12.5K]

for the columns where is less than or equal zero, use the first line of the function to calculate the value of f(x)

{ ( \frac{1}{3} ) }^{ - 2} - 1  = 9 - 1 = 8 \\ { ( \frac{1}{3} ) }^{ - 1}  - 1 = 3 - 1 = 2 \\ { ( \frac{1}{3} ) }^{ 0} - 1  = 1 - 1 = 0

for every x greater than zero, use the second line to determine the value

{3}^{1}  - 2 = 3 - 2 = 1 \\ {3}^{2}  - 2 = 9 - 2 = 7

hope this helps and gives some insight what to do.

if there are open questions left, feel free to ask them in the comments

have a beautiful day
