Mahalia is a pop star with a large Twitter following. While she knows her fans like reading what she posts, she can’t be certain
igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

Collapsing Contexts

Explanation:

Context collapse is a notion that scholars use to write about social media effects. It relates to the possible unlimited internet crowd as opposed to the limited groups that a individual usually interacts with face to face.

An individual in a restricted group constantly adjusts his tone and self-presentation to suit the social environment.

This becomes impossible in a contextual collapse scenario. Furthermore, behaviors and materials designed for a limited audience may suddenly conflict with components of the broader audience that they actually receive.

What did the South African election of Nelson Mandela give other countries in Africa?
kotykmax [81]

b. a hope that democracy would spread.

Explanation:

Nelson Mandela is probably the most recognizable person from Africa and one of the most influential people from this continent. He was a human rights fighter and his main goal was that South Africa and later the rest of Africa gets rid off the European rule, democracy is established, everyone to have the same rights and opportunities.

This was a partial success. Mandela became a president of South Africa and the situation quickly changed in the country. The Africans were ruling their own country in their own way and that was seen as a great achievement. On the other hand, numerous groups emerged and were allowed to exist which were openly spreading hatred and were attacking and murdering the white people in the country. One of the people involved in this was actually Nelson Mandela's wife which was actually responsible for burning people alive. It was not democracy by no means, instead it seemed that the cards have just switched.

Lot of African countries saw this as an opportunity to become democratic and rule themselves. Pretty much all of the African countries indeed started to rule themselves, and Africa became truly African. The problem was that in most of those countries there was not a democracy. The white people were attacked. Their properties taken without compensation. They were forced to live the countries, and many were even murdered. A good example is Zimbabwe.

Assume the standard trade model with two countries (Alpha and Beta), two goods (food and drink), and two factors of production (
alex41 [277]

Answer:

the price of food will fall in Alpha and rise in Beta

Explanation:

Based on the information provided within the question it can be said that in this scenario If the countries engage in free trade, the price of food will fall in Alpha and rise in Beta. This is mainly due to the fact that Alpha has a comparative advantage in drinks but not food due to drinks being labor intensive and Alpha having enough laborers to handle it. Therefore Beta will most likely trade their food for drinks causing prices of food to rise in Beta.
