D-SNP is the Medicare Advantage plan which provide extra benefits than  Medicare and Medicaid advantages.

People who already have Medicaid and Medicare are dually eligible for  Dual Special Needs Plan (D-SNP).

When a D-SNP member not qualify Medicaid, they go into a grace period which can be 30 days to 6 months.

During the grace period, the member of D-SNP are responsible for any out-of-pocket costs like copayments, coinsurance etc.
