Explanation:

When evaporation takes place in sea water then of course there will occur an increase in salinity.

But as this evaporated water is replaced by water coming from rivers. As a result, the raising salinity is counter balanced by the water coming from rivers.

Hence, salinity remains balanced in sea water.

Thus, we can conclude that because fresh water is constantly be evaporated from the ocean and then replaced by rivers, the salinity of the oceans remains balanced.
