Answer:

The percent increase is 20%.

Step-by-step explanation:

It's fairly simple.

Multiply 10 by (100/10) which is 10 to get 100.

Multiply 12 by 10 to get 120.

120 - 100 = 20

What is 5x^2+11x+2 factored
Alina [70]

Answer:

(x+2) (5x)

Step-by-step explanation:

the way I factor is the products of a*c added together equals b. so the products if (5*2) 10 equals 11. so 10 and 1 are the 2 products that add into 11. Now we put that into the equation. 5x^2+10x+1x+2 now take the two haves until you can't factor them any more 5x(x+2) (x+2). now take the repeated factor and outside factors to get (5x) and (x+2)

Solve 1 - 12 or any question please
ZanzabumX [31]
There two forms to write an equation in; slope-intercept form, <em /><em>y</em> = <em>mx</em> + <em>b</em>, where <em>m</em> is the slope and <em>b</em> is the <em>y</em>-intercept; and point-slope form, which is given by y-y_1=m(x-x_1), where <em>m</em> is the slope and (<em>x</em>₁, <em>y</em>₁) is a point on the line.  Given the information and instructions you have I assume you need point-slope form.  For #1, you have <em /><em>m</em> = 2 and point (3, 5).  Substitute these values in:
y-5=2(x-3)
If you need slope-intercept form, you start by using the distributive property on what you just wrote:
y-5=2*x-2*3&#10;\\y-5=2x-6
Now cancel the 5 to isolate <em>y</em>:
y-5+5=2x-6+5&#10;\\y=2x-1

In order to join a dance class at Dancing’s Lily’s Academy, you must pay a $335 annual fee plus $13.75 for each class you attend
Nuetrik [128]

Answer:

12

Step-by-step explanation:

335 + 13.75x = 500

Subtract 335 from each side

13.75x = 165

Divide each side by 13.75

x = 12

You can attend 12 dance classes with $500.

Could someone answer this and explain to me how to find the slope
77julia77 [94]

You can use the slope formula to figure this out, or you can just use common sense.
m(slope)=y2 - y1 / x2 - x1
Two points of the line are (3,1) (5,-3)
(-3 - 1) / (5-3) = -4 / 2 = - 2
Or you can just do rise over run (slope).
The line goes right 1 (run) and down 2 (rise)
Down 2 = -2
-2/1, or -2
-2 is your answer.
