This is an overview of translation process.

Translation is the process in protein synthesis in which the genetic information encoded in mRNA is translated into sequence of amino acid in polypeptide chain.

Ribosomes bind to mRNA in the cytoplasm and move along the molecule in a 5 prime to 3 prime directon until it reaches a start codon i.e AUG.  Anticodons on tRNA molecules align opposite appropriate codons according to complementary base pairing (e.g. AUG = UAC).  Each tRNA molecule carries a specific amino acid (according to the genetic code) . Ribosomes catalyse the formation of peptide bonds between adjacent amino acids (via condensation reactions) . The ribosome moves along the mRNA molecule synthesising a polypeptide chain until it reaches a stop codon . At this point translation ceases and the polypeptide chain is released

ozzi
Intermediate magma is also known as andesitic magmas and these are created when an oceanic plate subducts beneath a continental plate. The magma is generated in the wedge of mantle rock beneath the crust. The Cascade Mountain Range is formed due to the subduction of the Juan de Fuca Plate beneath the North American Plate.

The type of inheritance that involves the partial expression of two different<br> alleles is called
belka [17]

Answer: Incomplete dominance

Explanation:

In incomplete dominance, both alleles are expressed but have become blended giving rise to a new trait with one also been more noticed than the other although both are expressed. For instance a red flower and a white flower are crossed, giving rise to a pink flower. As compared to codominance, both alleles are equally expressed and are equally dominant. For example, a white college crossed with a black hen giving rise to a black and white (checkered) chick.

Neoteny is invoked to help explain:________
Triss [41]

Answer:D, how relatively little genetic change could lead to the significant differences we see between ourselves and chimps. 3 mya-2 mya. You inherited from your mom both her crooked nose and her recipe for chocolate chip cookies (both favorable traits).

Explanation:Neoteny is the retention, by adults in a species, of traits previously seen only in juveniles, and is a subject studied in the field of developmental biology. In neoteny, the physiological (or somatic) development of an animal or organism is slowed or delayed. You inherited from your mom both her crooked nose and her recipe for chocolate chip cookies (both favorable traits).
