Y=102 X=78
There is 900 degrees in a hexagon so you have to add up all the sides you already know and subtract 900 minus all the degrees you added then when you get your answer you can see that there is a supplementary line connecting to the hexagon and we know that a line is 180 degrees so you then subtract 180 with the degree you just found:)

Answer:

y = 102°

x = 78°

Step-by-step explanation:

y = 900-(115+105+128+142+148+160)

y= 900-798

y= 102

x= 180-y

x= 180-102

x= 78

Answer:

 (x, y) = (5, 2)

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

 LP = x

 MP = 2y+3

 NP = y+3

 KP = 3x -8

 KP = MP, LP = NP

Find:

 x, y

Solution:

The given relations between the segment lengths let us write two equations:

 KP = MP

 3x -8 = 2y +3 ⇒ 3x -2y -11 = 0 [eq1]

 LP = NP

 x = y +3 ⇒ x -y -3 = 0 [eq2]

__

Subtracting 3 times [eq2] from [eq1] gives ...

 (3x -2y -11) -3(x -y -3) = 0

 y -2 = 0 . . . . . . . . simplify

 y = 2 . . . . . . . . . . add 2

Substituting this value into [eq2] gives ...

 x = 2 + 3 = 5

The values of x and y are ...

 x = 5, y = 2

Jane has six different hamsters for which she has two cages, one red and one blue. She wants to put three hamsters in the red ca
Luba_88 [7]

Answer:

12 ways

Step-by-step explanation:

The different ways to choose which three hamsters to put in the red cage.

At first , she must choose one of the two of the hamsters, Felix and Oscar, because they do not get along and cannot be in the same cage.

So, the number of ways to choose one of them = 2

Then she will choose 2 from the remaining 4 hamsters (order does not matter)

The number of ways to choose 2 from 4 = 4C2 = 6

So, the total number of ways = 2 * 6 = 12
