siliceous

Deep seafloor deposition in the form of ooze is the largest long-term sink of the oceanic silica cycle (6.3 ± 3.6 Tmol Si year−1). As noted above, this ooze is diagenetically transformed into lithospheric marine chert.

calcareous

Calcareous ooze is a calcium carbonate mud formed from the hard parts (tests) of the bodies of free-floating organisms. Once this mud has been deposited, it can be converted into stone by processes of compaction, cementation, and recrystallization. ... Foraminifera are also single-celled organisms.

What is philosophy and is it useful or helpful ? Can someone explain this to me in depth please
DedPeter [7]

Philosophy touches so many subjects and, especially, because many of its methods can be used in any field. The study of philosophy helps us to enhance our ability to solve problems, our communication skills, our persuasive powers, and our writing skills.

PHILOSOPHY is a study that seeks to understand the mysteries of existence and reality. It tries to discover the nature of truth and knowledge and to find what is of basic value and importance in life. It also examines the relationships between humanity and nature and between the individual and society.Philosophy uses the tools of logic and reason to analyze the ways in which humans experience the world. It teaches critical thinking, close reading, clear writing, and logical analysis; it uses these to understand the language we use to describe the world, and our place within it. Although many people are unconvinced that that philosophy is important, I think there are good reasons to think it is important. Philosophy can not only help improve critical thinking skills, but it can help provide us with knowledge of logic that can greatly help improve critical thinking.

Hope this helps!

Give THREE examples of diversity within a society in relation to - Interests, beliefs & age
Rudik [331]

Societies are naturally diverse and its easy to see why it is.

Interests: Some people prefer to stay inside and use a lot of electronic devices. While others prefer nature and the outdoors, so they go hiking an camping.

Beliefs: This is an easy example, the united states has many churches with many religions, so the belief systems are different.

Age: Even in your house, age diversity is present! You might be 15 while your parents are 35, and your grand parents are 73! This a common form of age diversity.
