Answer:

When liquid water is confined in a tube, its surface (meniscus) has a concave shape because water wets the surface and creeps up the side. ... When liquid mercury is confined in a tube, its surface (meniscus) has a convex shape because the cohesive forces in liquid mercury tend to draw it into a drop.

2 x 3 = 6 + 3 x 3 = 9. 6 +9= 15 + 5 = 20. 10 + 15 = 25.

So, The Al2 O 3 is 20.

And the Fe is 15?

So the total of whatever it is is 25.

Sorry if it's wrong, I am a 13year old 7th grader, not in high school so it's probably wrong.

As the [H+] in a solution decreases, what happens to the [OH–]? A. It increases and the pH increases. B. It increases and the pH
AleksAgata [21]

Answer;

D. It decreases and the pH increases.

Explanation;

 • pH is a measure of the hydorgen ion concentration of a solution. Solutions with a high concentration of hydrogen ions have a low pH and solutions with a low concentrations of H+ ions have a high pH.
 • [H+] and [OH-] are inversely related. Therefore; As the concentration of H+ increases the pH decreases. Since the concentrations of H+ and OH- are inversely proportional, as one goes up, the other goes down.
 • Therefore, an increase in OH- concentration will correspond to an increase in pH and a decrease in the concentration of H+.
