.01, b) el área a la izquierda de t1 sea 0.95, c) el área a la derecha de t1 sea 0.10, d) el área a la derecha de t1 junto con el área a la izquierda de –t1 sea 0.01, e) el área entre a –t1 y t1 sea 0.95.

Answer:

a)  t₁ = 2,947

b)  t₁ = 2,131

c)  t₁ = 1,753

d) t₁ = 2,947   -t₁ = -2,947

e) t₁ = 2,131    -t₁  = -2, 131

Step-by-step explanation:

a) t₁ para el área a la derecha de 0,01

En la tabla t- student  el t correspondiente a 0,01  es:

t₁ = 2,947

b) t₁ para el área a la izquierda sea de 0,95. Es igual al t para el cual el área de la drecha es  0,05

t₁ = 2,131

c) t₁ para que el área de la derecha sea 0,10

t₁ = 1,753

d) Buscar t₁ para el cual las áreas de derecha de (t₁) más la de la izquierda  de (- t₁ ) sea  0,01.

Si el área es de 0,01 quere decir que la mitad, es decir 0,005 es el área para una cola, luego

t₁ = 2,947  y -t₁ = -2,947

e) Para que el área entre - t₁ y t₁ sea 0,95

t₁ = 2,131  y  -t₁  = -2, 131

The school that Trevon goes to selling tickets to the annual dance competition. On the first day of tickets sales the school sol
KiRa [710]

Answer:

  both kinds of tickets are $5 each

Step-by-step explanation:

Let s and c represent the dollar costs of a senior ticket and child ticket, respectively. The problem statement describes two relationships:

  12s + 5c = 85 . . . . . revenue from the first day of sales

  6s + 9c = 75 . . . . . . revenue from the second day of sales

Double the second equation and subtract the first to eliminate the s variable.

  2(6s +9c) -(12s +5c) = 2(75) -(85)

  13c = 65 . . . . . simplify

  65/13 = c = 5 . . . . . divide by the coefficient of c

Substitute this value into either equation. Let's use the second one.

  6s + 9·5 = 75

  6s = 30 . . . . . . . subtract 45

  30/6 = s = 5 . . . divide by the coefficient of s

The price of a senior ticket is $5; the price of a child ticket is $5.

What is the difference? StartFraction 2 x + 5 Over x squared minus 3 x EndFraction minus StartFraction 3 x + 5 Over x cubed minu
inn [45]

Answer:

\frac{(x+5)(x+2)}{x(x-3)(x+3)}

Step-by-step explanation:

The given expression is

\frac{2x+5}{x^{2} -3x} -\frac{3x+5}{x^{3} -9x} -\frac{x+1}{x^{2}-9}

First, we need to factor each denominator

\frac{2x+5}{x(x-3)} -\frac{3x+5}{x(x+3)(x-3)} -\frac{x+1}{(x-3)(x+3)}

So, the least common factor (LCF) is x(x-3)(x+3), because they are the factors that repeats.

Now, we diviide the LCF by each denominator, to then multiply it by each numerator.

\frac{(x+3)(2x+5)-3x-5-x(x+1)}{x(x-3)(x+3)} =\frac{2x^{2}+5x+6x+15-3x-5-x^{2}-x }{x(x-3)(x+3)}\\\frac{x^{2}+7x+10}{x(x-3)(x+3)}

Then, we factor the numerator, to do so, we need to find two numbers which product is 10 and which sum is 7.

\frac{(x+5)(x+2)}{x(x-3)(x+3)}

Therefore, the expression is equivalent to

\frac{(x+5)(x+2)}{x(x-3)(x+3)}

A line passes through the point (-2, 3) and has a slope of -2. What is the equation of the line?
Mrrafil [7]

Answer:

y = -2x -1

Step-by-step explanation:

slope intercept form is y = mx +b

m = slope, b = y intercept

point is given as ordered pair (x,y)

plug in slope into y=......

y= -2x+b

plug in the point

3 = -2 * (-2) + b

3= 4 +b subtract 4 on each side

b = -1

y = -2x -1
