3x + 7z = 51

Step 3

3x + 7z - (3x - 2z) = 51 - (-3)
7z + 2z = 54
9z = 54
z = 6

Then finding x

3x - 2*6 = -3
3x = 12 - 3
3x = 9
x = 3

Then finding y using the first equation

2*3 + y + 3*6 = 20
y + 24 = 20
y = -4
