A grocery store has a shelf with half-gallon containers of milk. What type of number best represents the total number of gallon?
Advocard [28]
Rational numbers.

The grocery store will have a whole number of half gallons =>

number of gallons = n * [1/2] , where n = ∈ N

That means that the number of gallons ∈ Z+ and 0.

Then the answer is the option A. rational number.

Leto [7]
Acc. to midpoint theorem,

15={(2x+9) + (4x-15)}/2
⇒ 30=2x+9+4x-15
⇒ 30-9+15=6x
⇒ 36/6=x
⇒6=x

WZ= 4x-15
=4*6-15
=24-15=9

Una escalera está apoyada sobre la fachada de un edificio. Si la escalera mide 10 m de longitud y el pie de la escalera está a 5
mamaluj [8]

Answer:

8.66 meters

Step-by-step explanation:

Assuming that the building is completely straight, a right angle is formed and therefore a right triangle.

Thanks to this we can calculate the height at which the ladder reaches the wall using the Pythagorean theorem, this height being one of the legs.

We have to:

c ^ 2 = a ^ 2 + b ^ 2

c = 10

a = 5

replacing

b ^ 2 = 10 ^ 2 - 5 ^ 2

b ^ 2 = 75

b = 8.66

that is to say that the height at which the ladder reaches the wall is 8.66 meters

I need an answer and I’m offering a lot!!
ss7ja [257]
Line t. It cuts directly into the angle. Don’t get it confused with bisect because that comes directly from the angle and not just anywhere on it. Hope this helps
