The first washing machine is 50% off- so it'd be $260 for the final price

The second washing machine was marked down by 20%, so it'd be 416. But then it was marked down another 30% so the final price would be $291

Since the first washing machine was just 50% of $520, it's a better deal rather than 20% of $520, then 30% of $416
