g A rotating wheel requires 5.00 s to rotate 28.0 revolutions. Its angular velocity at the end of the 5.00-s interval is 96.0 ra
Setler [38]

Answer:

The angular acceleration of the wheel is 15.21 rad/s².

Explanation:

Given that,

Time = 5 sec

Final angular velocity = 96.0 rad/s

Angular displacement = 28.0 rev = 175.84 rad

Let \alpha be the angular acceleration

We need to calculate the angular acceleration

Using equation of motion

\theta=\omega_{i} t+\dfrac{1}{2}\alpha t^2

Put the value in the equation

175.84=\omega_{i}\times 5+\dfrac{1}{2}\times\alpha\times(5)^2

175.84=\omega_{i}\times 5+12.5\alpha......(I)

Again using equation of motion

\omega_{f}=\omega_{i}+\alpha t

Put the value in the equation

96.0=\omega_{i}+\alpha \times 5

On multiply by 5 in both sides

480=\omega_{i}\times 5+\alpha\times 25....(II)

On subtract equation (I) from equation (II)

480-175.84=\alpha(25-5)

304.16=\alpha\times20

\alpha=\dfrac{304.16}{20}

\alpha=15.21\ rad/s^2

Hence, The angular acceleration of the wheel is 15.21 rad/s².

What information is given by the formula of an ionic compound?
Sergio [31]
MgCl2 is ionic compound.........Mg +2 and Cl -1
both charges are cross multiplied to each element......formula tells us that to balance the positive and negative charges on both sides they are cross multiplied........MgCl2......meaning there is one atom of Mg and 2 atoms of Cl.......

Help me please, i need it fast

Answer:

2)  C.  (x - 3)² + (y + 2)² = 25

5)   x² +  y² - 8x - 16y + 54 = 0

6)   x² + y²  - 10x - 12y + 36  = 0

Explanation:

2)

center of circle = 3, -2

                            x1, y1

end point of circle = 7, 1

                                 x2, y2

the equation of a circle is Pythagorean theorem

x² + y² = r²    (where r is the radius of a circle)

distance between points

(x2 - x1)² + (y2 - y1)² = r²

(7 - 3)² + (1 - (-2))² = r²

r² = 25

therefore the equation to the circle is

(x - 3)² + (y + 2)² = 25

=========================================

5)

write the general form of a circle with the center (4,8)

and containing the point (-1, 7)

distance between points

(x2 - x1)² + (y2 - y1)² = r²

(-1 - 4)² + (7 - 8)² = r²

r² = 26

(x - 4)² + (y - 8)² = 26

(x - 4)(x - 4) +  (y - 8)(y - 8) = 26

x² - 8x + 16 + y² - 16y + 64 -26 = 0

x² +  y² - 8x - 16y + 54 = 0

=========================================

6)

find the general form of a circle with center (5,6)

and tangent to the y-axis.

center (5,6)

           h, k

radius = r²

r = 5

(x - h)² + (y - k)² = r²

(x - r)² + (y - k)² = r²

(x - 5)(x - 5) + (y - 6)(y - 6) = r²

x² - 10x + 25 + y² - 12y + 36 = 25

x² + y²  - 10x - 12y + 36  = 0

=========================================
