Given:

Measure of a cube = 1 unit on each side.

Dimensions of a space 2 units by 3 units by 4 units.

To find:

Number of cubes that can be fit into the given space.

Solution:

The volume of cube is:

V_1=a^3

Where, a is the side length of cube.

V_1=(1)^3

V_1=1

So, the volume of the cube is 1 cubic units.

The volume of the cuboid is:

V_2=l\times b\times h

Where, l is length, w is width and h is height.

Putting l=2,b=3,h=4, we get

V_2=2\times 3\times 4

V_2=24

So, the volume of the space is 24 cubic units.

We need to divide the volume of the space by the volume of the cube to find the number of cubes that can be fit into the given space.

n=\dfrac{V_2}{V_1}

n=\dfrac{24}{1}

n=24

Therefore, 24 cubes can be fit into the given space.

How to solve<br><br> 3sin^2x= cos^2x
DochEvi [55]

I'll try it.
I just went through this twice on scratch paper.  The first time was to
see if I could do it, and the second time was because the first result
I got was ridiculous.  But I think I got it.

You said                                                 <span><u>3sin²(x) = cos²(x)</u>

Use this trig identity:  sin²(x) = 1 - cos²(x)

                                   Plug it into the original equation for (x).

                                                     3(1 - cos²(x) )  =  cos²(x)

Remove parentheses on the left:    3 - 3cos²(x)  =  cos²(x)

Add  3cos²(x)  to each side:            3                  =  4cos²(x)

Divide each side by  4 :                  3/4  =  cos²(x)

Take the square root of each side:    <em>cos(x) = (√3) / 2</em> .

There it is ... the cosine of the unknown angle.
Now you just go look it up in a book with a table cosines,
or else pinch it through your computer or your calculator,
or else just remember that you've learned that

                           cos( <em><u>30°</u></em> )  =  </span><span><span>(√3) / 2 </span>.

What happen when you cancel two factors out?
Salsk061 [2.6K]

Answer:

However, it is possible to cancel out factors in a different order. You should still arrive at the same answer, regardless of the order you choose. Summary: To multiply fractions by cancelling common factors, divide out factors that are common to both a numerator and a denominator.

Answer:

slope = 1

Step-by-step explanation:

Calculate the slope m using the slope formula

m = \frac{y_{2}-y_{1}  }{x_{2}-x_{1}  }

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (- 1, 0) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (0, 1) ← 2 points on the line

m = \frac{1-0}{0+1} = 1
