The reason why Grant is being irritable is because of the reason that he has diabetes. In order to resolve this, the teacher should help in a way to lessen Grant's irritability, in order to focus on class. The teacher should give Grant something sweet to to eat such as a candy bar or a sugar cube, in order to relieve his irritability that he is experiencing because he is diabetic.
