Ok, i am confused on what this is asking, but remember: to find ratios(rise over run y over x slope m k whatever) subtract two ys and subtract two xs( remember that coordinates go(x,y)) put your answer in y/x form, and that is your constant(ratio)
Hello,
c1=10.9 (in) A1=392.4 (in²)
c2=21.8 (cm) =21.8/2.54 (in)
k=c2/c1=(21.8/(2.54*10.9)=2/2.54
A2=(2/2.54)²*392.4=243,28848...≈243.29 (in²)
A because u are trying to find the lengths and then just adding it to the widths. You don't need area so b is wrong, you are just simply adding so a is the right answer.
Cos 45 = √6 / y
√2 / 2 = √6 / y
Inverse both sides
2 / √2 = y / √6
Multiply both sides by √6
√6 × 2 / √2 = √6 × y / √6
√2 × √3 × 2 / √2 × 1 = y

y = 2√3
