PLZ HELP!! I WILL GIVE BRAINLIEST!! 50+PTS!! PLZ HELP!!!! In an exothermic reaction at equilibrium, what is the effect of loweri
IgorC [24]

Answer:

A. your reaction makes more products.

Explanation:

This is a fun question dealing with idea of Le Chatelier's principle.

In an exothermic reaction, you produce heat. This means that heat will act as a product (or be on the product side).

Suppose there's an imaginary equation:

A + B -----> C (Now if I lower the amount of B, the equilibrium will shift to left to make up the lost B, or to bring the system back to equilibrium)

Apply the same concept as above below:

A + B -------> C + Heat (as I mentioned, since this is exothermic reaction heat is written as product, so if you lower the temperature, which means basically lower the heat, the reaction will shift towards right to make up the lost heat, in this process you will make extra C which is products. Thus, your reaction makes more products.
