<h2><u>Answer:</u></h2><h2>a. Divide the number of people by the number that fit on one bus: 136 ÷ 51 = 2.667. They need more than 2 buses, but not quite 3. Since they can’t order part of a bus, they will need to order 3 buses.</h2><h2></h2><h2><u>Thank you</u></h2><h2><u>Sunshinemadison101</u></h2>

255/56 = 4.55....

You can't have 0.55... buses so you round that up to 1.

Therefore 4+1 = 5 so 5 buses would be the minimum.

Which equations are true?<br>A: -x = -x + x + 0<br>B: -x = 0 + (-x)<br>C: None Of The Above
Leto [7]
Answer: B
Explanation: if you look at A and try to combine like terms, you will add the -x on the right side the the one on the left, cancelling out the x on the left. then you have 0=x+0, and unless x=0, it is not true.
With B, when you add x to the -x, you cancel it out, giving you 0=0, which is true. hope it helps!

What is the height of a pyramid (with a square base) whose side length is 12 cm and its slant
Bingel [31]

We have been given that side length of pyramid the square base is 12 cm and its slant height is 10 cm. We are asked to find the height of the pyramid.

We will use slant height of a pyramid formula to solve our given problem.

s=\sqrt{h^2+\frac{1}{4}a^2},where,

s = Slant height,

h = Height,

a = Each side of square base.

Upon substituting our given values in above formula, we will get:

10=\sqrt{h^2+\frac{1}{4}\cdot 12^2}

10=\sqrt{h^2+\frac{1}{4}\cdot 144}

10=\sqrt{h^2+36}

Switch sides:

\sqrt{h^2+36}=10

Let us square both sides:

(\sqrt{h^2+36})^2=10^2

h^2+36=100

h^2+36-36=100-36

h^2=64

Now we will take positive square root of both sides.

\sqrt{h^2}=\sqrt{64}

h=8

Therefore, the height of the pyramid is 8 cm and option 'b' is the correct choice.

So if slope is 2/3 but it goes thew (4,2) then what is b (y=2/3x____) (need b please help me out)
Anna71 [15]

This is currently your equation since you do not know "b"

y = 2/3x + b

To find "b" you plug in the point (4,2) into the equation.

y = 2/3x + b

2 = 2/3(4) + b

2 = 8/3 + b (subtract 8/3 on both sides to get "b" by itself)

2 - 8/3 = b (make the denominators the same)

6/3 - 8/3 = b

-2/3 = b

So: y= 2/3x - 2/3
