You would write two numbers adding or subtracting eachother in parentheses then a number on the outside and you take the number on the outside and multiply it by both the numbers in the parentheses then you’ll have two numbers adding or subtracting eachother for example 2(10+8) then you’d get 20+16 witch is also your problem

5.Combine like terms.

6.Solve the equation and simplify, if needed.
