x²+4x+4=0

(x+2)(x+2)=0

x= -2

f(g(x))=0

f(6x+4)=0

f(0)=0

x=-4/6

i did it in to step because i didnt understand what you mean we you write (f+g)(x)

but probably the first answer is the correct one

Answer:

x = - 2

Step-by-step explanation:

(f + g)(x)

= f(x) + g(x)

= x² - 2x + 6x + 4

= x² + 4x + 4

Then

x² + 4x + 4 = 0 ← in standard form

(x + 2)² = 0 ← in factored form

x + 2 = 0

x = - 2

Use the given acceleration vector to find the velocity and position vectors. Then find the position at time t=2: a(t) = −32k, v(
kolbaska11 [484]

Answer: the velocity and position vector is given by;

v(t) = 3i + 2j + (1-32t)k

r(t) = (3t)i + (5-2t)j + (2+t-16t^2)k

The position at time t=2; r(2)

r(2) = 6i + j - 60k

Step-by-step explanation:

6. slope = -1; y-intercept = 8<br> Write the linear equation in slope intercept form
Mice21 [21]

Answer: y = -1x + 8

Step-by-step explanation: linear equations must be written in the format

y = mx + b from.

m represents the slope which it -1

b represents the y-intercept which is 8.

Just substitute the slope and y-intercept in the m and b places and that is a linear equation.

Krystal was given $3000 when she turned 2 years old. Her parents
amid [387]
The expression for finding the amount of money earned on interest is

P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}

where
P = principal (money you started with)
r = rate (in decimal form)
n = number of times compounded per year
t = time (in years)

In this case:
P = 3000
r = 0.02       (because 2% in decimal form is 0.02)
n = 1        (because it is compounded once every year)
t = 16       (because she got the money when she was 2 and we are calculating it                       for when she turns 18, 16 years later)

So, you plug it in:

P(1+\frac{r}{n})^{nt}\\3000(1+\frac{0.02}{1})^{(1)(16)}\\3000(1+0.02)^{16}

So, the answer is (1) <span>3000(1 + 0.02)^16</span>
