To figure out how much to budget, Mr. Williams will need to determine how many people (students and adults) are going on the trip.

If there are 171 7th graders, there will need to be 38 adults (2 adults per 9 students is 38 adults for 171 students.

This is a total of 209 people(171 students and 38 adults).

$6 per person x 209 people = $1254 for food

$4.50 x 171 + $7.25 x 38 = $1045 Cost for tickets to the museum

0.04(4%) x 1045 = $41.80 for parking

For the museum tickets and parking Mr. Williams will need to budget $1045 + $41.80 = $1086.80 for parking and tickets.

If you are including the food cost you would need to add $1254 to this.

What’s the answer for number 5
Paul [167]

Answer:

D. 343 3/4

Step-by-step explanation:

1 inch = 125 miles

There is a distance of 2 3/4 inches

The first thing you would do is double 125, since it is one inch, and 2 inches would another 125. Now you have 250. To get the rest, you would need to divide 125 by 4, getting 31.25. Now since the question needs 3/4 of 125, you multiply 31.25 by 3, which is 93.75. Now add 250, and 93.75. You get 343.75, or 343 3/4

6m + 2 - 4m =

help with this please
devlian [24]

The answer is: 2(m+1)

First combine like terms.
we do 6m-4m which is 2m
2m+2=?

Second we factor. We notice that both terms have 2.
2(m+1)

by distributive law, the 2 is distributed to m and 1.

vovikov84 [41]

The experimental probability is how many times it landed on heads over the amount of times it was flipped.

The coin landed on heads 32 times out of 50 flips which is 32/50 which equals 0.64, which is 64%

The answer is D.
