Are they correct? Why or why not? answer correctly thank you 10 points.
Kitty [74]

Answer:

No.

Step-by-step explanation:

the system of equations provided in the condition consists of two linear equations in slope-interception form. The slope of the 1st equation is equal to the slope of 2d equation. It means, the lines are parallel. In other words, no solution of this system, they are not correct.

A study is performed in a large southern town to determine whether the average weekly grocery bill per four-person family in the
OLga [1]

Answer:

The average weekly grocery bill per four-person family in the town is significantly different from the national average.

Step-by-step explanation:

We are given the following in the question:

Population mean, μ = $100

Sample mean, \bar{x} = $103.23

Sample size, n = 25

Alpha, α = 0.05

Sample standard deviation, s = $8.82

First, we design the null and the alternate hypothesis

H_{0}: \mu = 100\text{ dollars}\\H_A: \mu \neq 100\text{ dollars}

We use Two-tailed t test to perform this hypothesis.

Formula:

t_{stat} = \displaystyle\frac{\bar{x} - \mu}{\frac{s}{\sqrt{n}} }

Putting all the values, we have

t_{stat} = \displaystyle\frac{103.23- 100}{\frac{8.82}{\sqrt{25}} } = 1.831

Now,

t_{critical} \text{ at 0.05 level of significance, 24 degree of freedom } = \pm 2.063

Since,

t_{stat} < t_{critical}

We accept the null hypothesis.

We accept the null hypothesis and determine that the average weekly grocery bill per four-person family in the town is significantly same to the national average.

a dessert recipe calls for 2 and 1/2 cups of milk and makes 5 servings how many cups of milk are needed to make for 8 servings s
melomori [17]
It would take 4 cups of milk, how I got my answer.

I first needed to know out how much milk was in 1 serving so I divided, 2.5÷5=0.5, so then I multiplied, 0.5×3=1.5, the reason I done this was because there are 3 more servings than the last, then I added, 2.5+1.5=4.

I hope this helps!
