indicate whether energy is emitted or absorbed when the following electronic transitions occur in hydrogen according to the Bohr
AlladinOne [14]

Answer:

A=emitted B=absorbed

Explanation:

If an electron drops down from n=2 to n=1 energy is emitted, and if the electron moves up from n=1 to n=2 energy is absorbed. The amount of energy that is either absorbed or emitted is called quanta.

Chemistry lab question. The lab is about the separation of mixtures using evaporation and filtration.
dezoksy [38]

For the first question, salt is soluble while sand is insoluble or not dissolvable in water. The salt should have vanished or melted, but the sand stayed noticeable or visible, making a dark brown solution probably with some sand particles caught on the walls of the container when the boiling water was put in to the mixture of salt and sand. The solubility of a chemical can be disturbed by temperature, and in the case of salt in water, the hot temperature of the boiling water enhanced the salt's capability to melt in it.

For the second question, the melted or dissolved salt should have easily made its way through the filter paper and into the second container, while the undissolved and muddy sand particles is caught on the filter paper.

A phospholipid molecule has a polar and a nonpolar end. Because of this, water molecules form-polar bonds with the nonpolar end
Lady bird [3.3K]

The right answer is Hydrogen bonds with the polar end of the phospholipid molecule.

A phospholipid contains a phosphoric acid group as mono or di-ester.

The physicochemical properties of phospholipids depend both on the polar molecule of the hydrophilic head and on the aliphatic chains of the hydrophobic tails. In an aqueous medium, such amphiphilic molecules tend to be organized so that only their hydrophilic head is in contact with the water molecules, which typically results in structures in micelle, liposome or lipid bilayer.
