Answer:   If the rough ER lost all of its ribosomes, the <u>cells wouldn't be able to produce any protein.</u>

Explanation:    

A single cell can contain around 10 million ribosomes. Without these ribosomes, <u>cells would not be able to produce protein </u>and <u>would not be able to function properly</u>. The <u>cell would no longer be able to send proteins to the Golgi.</u>
