Slope 7/2. Y-intercept (0,5)
____ [38]2 years ago
3 0

Answer:

7/2 is the slope and 5 is the y-intercept

Step-by-step explanation:

Slope-intercept form is y=mx+b, where m is the slope and b is the y-intercept.

7x-2y=-10

subtract 7x on both sides

-2y=-7x-10

divide by -2 on both sides

y=(7/2)x+5

7/2 is the slope and 5 is the y-intercept.

I’m lost not understanding
bogdanovich [222]
First you are want to think of what two numbers will give you 72. It gives you 6, so you need to think of 6 times what will give you 72 (which is 12). Next you want to break down the 12, and you do the exact same thing you did with the 72. It gives you the number 3 so you need to find out 3 times what equals 12 (which is 4). Then you break down the 4 the same way. You have to do that to the 6 as well.
You continue to break down numbers until you can’t anymore.

At a baseball game, a vender sold a combined total of 162 sodas and hot dogs. The number of sodas sold was two times the number
Galina-37 [17]

Let hot dogs = X

So then soda would be 2x ( two times as much).

Now you have:

X + 2X = 162

Simplify:

3x = 162

Divide both sides by 3:

X =162 / 3

X = 54

2x = 54 *2 = 108

108 sodas and 54 hot dogs were sold.
