Briefly explain how scientists draw relationships between organisms based on shared anatomical features.
love history [14]
I think the more features two organisms share or the shared anatomical features, the closely related they are. For example; the class insecta (e.g bee, butterfly) and the class arachnida (e.g spider and tick) belong to phylum arthropoda because they have similar anatomical features such as appendages, segmented body among other features.

__________ can be both an atom and a molecule. A) Hydrogen A) Helium
Murrr4er [49]

Answer:

Hydrogen

Explanation:

Because helium is a noble gas with a full valence shell, it does not bond with other atoms readily. This means that it cannot be a molecule. However, hydrogen can bond with a lot of things, because of its unique property of having just one electron, meaning that it can donate or accept one, making it able to easily become a molecule. Hope this helps!

Why do you think that dilating blood vessels will decrease temperature of the blood as well as decrease blood pressure?
I am Lyosha [343]
Dilation of blood vessels will cause them to be nearer to the skin surface. This means that it will be easier for heat to be lost from the blood vessels to the skin and ultimately to the atmosphere via conduction. This loss in heat reduces the temperature of blood and hence the body temperature in general.
If the rate at which blood is pumped is constant (whether blood vessels are constricted or dilated), then blood pressure decreases when blood vessels are dilated because blood pumped at constant speed has more space to pass resulting in decreased blood pressure.
