Answer:

x=50

Step-by-step explanation:

Add all the side together, you will have 2x+80

And every triangle is 180 degrees, subtract 80 from each side

You will be left with 2x=100

x=50

Step2247 [10]
I think y = 8. Since x = -3 then the equation would be y = -1(-3) +5. -1 times -3 equals 3. So now the equation is y = 3 +5. That would give you 8.

Hey!

Okay, to solve this problem, we'd first have to multiply both sides by two. The reason we do this is to get y on its own.

<em>Original Equation : </em>
\frac{y}{2} < -3

<em>New Equation {Changed by Multiplying 2 on Both Sides} :</em>
\frac{2y}{2} < 2 ( -3 )

And we simplify the equation to get our answer.

<em>Old Equation :</em>
\frac{2y}{2} < 2 ( -3 )

<em>New Equation {Changed by Simplification} :</em>
y < -6

<em>So, the equation \frac{y}{2} < -3 simplified is</em>  y < -6.

Hope this helps!

Three orders are placed at a pizza shop. two small pizzas, a liter of soda, and a salad cost $14; one small pizza, a liter of so
mojhsa [17]
To determine the cost of each item, we need to set up equations. From the problem statement, we have three unknowns so we need three equations. We set up equations as follows:

let x cost of small pizzas
     y cost of soda
     z cost of salad

two small pizzas, a liter of soda, and a salad cost $14
2x + y + z = 14

one small pizza, a liter of soda, and three salads cost $15

x + y + 3z = 15

three small pizzas, a liter of soda, and two salads cost $22
3x + y + 2z = 22

Solving for x, y and z, we will have:

x = $ 5
y = $ 1
z = $ 3
