Back when the Industrial Age was in motion many workers were hurt on the job, but keep working because they didnt get any money if they did not work. This lead to the contamination of products such as meat and other food items. Also children began to work back then as well and when mothers learned that thier children were getting hurt they demanded money to pay for the cost of medical bills.

Abdominal pain is very common nowadays, this is due to fast life adjustments which also includes our dietary patterns and food type we eat.
Explanation:
- Abdominal pain can be due to several reasons, some of them are not so serious and self-limited only arising from eating something or some viral health issues. The pain lasts for a few seconds to minutes. Major cause being acidity which can be controlled by an antacid and with a check on food patterns.
- As in the case of Mary who has been complaining of more severe abdominal pain, that is sharp and occurs in mid epigastrium which is the mid-upper abdomen.
- And this pain occurs after her favorite meals, there can be several underlying possibilities to this.
- It can gastritis (inflammation of stomach lining) and it can be due to infections, acid or alcohols and symptoms include; heartburn, nausea, and aching or burning pain.
- Peptic Ulcers, gastroparesis and pancreatitis in all these disorders have nausea, worsening pain radiating to back or shoulders and pain lasts longer after having certain meals.
- Mary needs to have medical attention immediately so that it does not progress further and cause any serious health issue.
Answer:
There are air filters to purify the air and water filters to clean the water. Well, the kidneys are like a filtering system, too. They contain nephrons, which filter waste from the blood in two stages. First, nephrons take waste as well as needed materials out of blood. Then, the materials the body needs (like water and glucose) are returned to the blood and wastes are eliminated from the body. This is one way the kidneys maintain homeostasis. The kidneys also regulate the amount of water in the body. The amount of water the kidneys return to the blood depends on the conditions inside and outside of the body. This is another way the excretory system maintains homeostasis. For example, you will make more urine on a cool day when you have drunk a lot of water than you will on a hot day when you've hardly had anything to drink.
