Answer:

I am not the best in this type of math, the best thing I can do is help you.

You see that there is a pattern in the chart? X adds 2 every column, and Y adds 4 every column.

I believe the slope simplified is 2/1, if you are following y/x. If not, then the other way around.

Unfortunately, I can't help you with the rest of the problem, but I hope you can get a good idea of what your supposed to do.

Have a good day.

The area of a trapezoid is
horrorfan [7]

Answer:

The answer is 15cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Let b be the length of the second parallel side

Area of a trapezium is given by

A = \frac{1}{2} (a + b)h

where

h is the height

a and b are the parallel sides

From the question

Area = 230 cm²

height = 20cm

one of parallel side / a = 8 cm

Substitute the values into the above formula and solve for b

That's

230 = \frac{1}{2} ( 8 + b) 20

Reduce the fraction with 2

That's

230 = (8 + b) \times 10

Expand the terms

That's

230 = 80 + 10b

10b = 230 - 80 \\ 10b = 150

Divide both sides by 10

We have the final answer as

b = 15cm

Hope this helps you

Find the area of the trapezoid with bases 8 cm and 4 cm and a height of 1/4 cm. (Simplify your answer)
Simora [160]

Answer:

1 1/2 or 1.5

Step-by-step explanation:

trapezoid area formula: a = (a+b/2) x h

bases: 8 + 4 = 12

12/2=6

6 x 1/4 = 1.5 or 1 1/2
