Because the mass of Cart B is higher than Cart A, its speed must be less than cart A's speed after the reaction. Therefore, options C and D are not applicable. Because of the ratio of masses between the carts, it would be safe to assume that A is not the answer. Although, I would still give option A a <2% chance of being the correct answer.
