GT = 9.5 ft
BT = 11 ft

Let's find angle x and compare with the safety requirement

GT/BT = sin x
9.5/11 = sin x
x = arcsin (9.5/11)
x = 59.7° < 75°

The angle we got is less than 75° so it is safe to use

So, the equation is $4^{2} +x^{2} =14^{2}$ .

Solve for x:

16+x^{2}= 196

x^{2}= 196-16

x^{2}= 180

x = 6√5 feet
