A school conference room can seat a maximum of 83 people. The principal and two counselors need to meet with the school’s studen
t athletes to discuss eligibility requirements. If each student must bring a parent with them, what is the maximum number of students that can attend each meeting?
We do not count the counselors or the principal because they are not students, so we do 83 - 3 = 80, now it is just simple division, for every student there is a parent, so we divide 80 in half, 80 / 2 = 40 students :D
