The nerve and muscular system work together by performing their perspective and sensory duties. Muscles protect the delicate network of nerves that run throughout the body. Meanwhile nerves, act like a train delivering and receiving messages from the brain.
The Muscular system and Nervous system from what I understand work together why your brain and your nerves in your muscles move them because, your brain sends a input and the muscles send the output (like me typing right now). The nervous system makes sure that you are moving the way you want to. If the nervous system didn't do that than the muscular system, skeletal system and basically every other system would malfunction and not work.
