Answer:

.496 M .

Explanation:

15.5 mL of .8 M NaOH will contain .0155 x .8 moles of NaOH

moles of NaOH = .0124 moles

For neutralization, moles contained by 25 mL of HCl = .0124

Hence molarity of HCl = .0124 / .025

= .496 M .

Which one of the following reactions IS NOT balanced? 1. 2 KNO3 + 10 K → 5 K2O + N2 2. 2 SO2 + O2 → 2 SO3 3. SF4 + 3 H2O → H2SO3
Delicious77 [7]

Answer:

2 KNO₃ + 10 K → 5 K₂O + N₂ (option 1)

Explanation:

1. 2 KNO₃ + 10 K → 5 K₂O + N₂

We have in reactant side:

2 K, 2N, 6O and 10 K. In conclussion, 12 K, 2N and 6 O

We have in product side.

10 K, 5O and 2 N

This equation is unbalanced

2. 2 SO₂ + O₂ → 2 SO₃

In reactant side we have 2 S and 6 O

In product side we have 2 S and 6 O

3. SF₄ + 3 H₂O → H₂SO₃ + 4 HF

In reactant side we have 1 S, 4F, 6 H and 3 O

In product side we have 1 S, 4F, 6 H and 3 O

Elements that form ionic bonds generally have how many valence electrons?
asambeis [7]

Answer:

they should have a number that can completely transfer and fill the other atom

Explanation:

example:

sodium(2.8.1)and Chlorine(2.8.7)the sodium will give chlorine the 1 valence electrobo so they both become stable(2.8)±and(2.8.8)–

magnesium(2.8.2)and oxygen(2.6)same way as above to abtain mg(2.8)±²and oxygen(2.8)–²

In the reaction SO2Cl2 double arrows SO2+ Cl2 heat is evolved. What happens when chlorine (Cl2) is added to the equilibrium mixt
MA_775_DIABLO [31]
The chemical reaction is:

SO2Cl2 ⇔ SO2+ Cl2

This shows that the forward reaction the compound is decomposed to smaller compounds and the backward reaction the larger compound is produced. Adding more chlorine to the mixture when in equilibrium, will shift the equilibrium to the left forming the larger compound.
