(a) [-4,-3]

We plug in -4  for x  and -3 for x

f(-4) = (-4)^4 + 3(-4)^3 - 2(-4)^2 - 6(-4) - 1= 55

f(-3) = (-3)^4 + 3(-3)^3 - 2(-3)^2 - 6(-3) - 1= -1

(b) [-3,-2]
