We have,

→ 5x - 3y = 2 – (i)  

→ 3x - 2y = 4 – (ii)  

Multiplying equation (i) by 2, we get,  

→ 10x - 6y = 4 – (iii)

Multiplying equation (ii) by 3, we get,  

→ 9x - 6y = 12 – (iv)

Subtracting (iii) from (iv), we get,  

→ -x = 8  

→ x = -8  

Now, from (i),

→ 5 × (-8) - 3y = 2

→ -40 - 2 = 3y

→ -42 = 3y

→ y = -14  

So,  

→ (x, y) = (-8, -14)
