Math problem+Zoey, a Gelada Baboon, is tied to one of the outside corners of a regular hexagon-shaped research facility, where h

e is free to roam and graze all of the surrounding land outside of the research facility. The rope on the monkey is 75 feet long, and the six sides of the research facility are each 30 feet long. How much area can Zoey graze?

Answer

The monkey will be able to cover an area of 22.86 meters which is equivalent to two sides and half of the building.

Step-by-step explanation:

The length of the monkeys rope = 75 feet long

Each side of the hexagon shaped facility = 30 feet

Note that, 1 feet = 0.3048 m

if we convert 30 feet to Meter, we have,

30 × 0.3048 = 9.144

Therefore, 30 + 30 +15 = 75 which is equivalent to the two side and half side of the hexagon shaped building

75 feet × 0.304 meter = 22.86 meters.

So the total area the monkey will be able to cover will be

= 22.86 Meters which is equivalent to two sides and half of the hexagon shape building.

Simplify completely . x 2- 20x + 32 /x 2- 2x - 80
alina1380 [7]
This is usually considered to be the simplified form. The numerator zeros are irrational, so the numerator has no integer factors. The denominator zeros are x=-8, 10, but "simplified" usually means "multiplied out, rather than factored."

If you wanted to, you could write the expression as
.. 1 - (34/9)/(x -10) -(128/9)/(x +8)
This is more suitable for finding asymptotes and for doing integration, but may not be considered "simplified."

The answer is -8

I found my answer by using desmos. It is the best app for graphing. I wrote the equation and then I looked for the point 18 on the y axis and then I looked where it was on the x axis

that is how I found my answer.
