How many moles of Ag are in 43.1 grams of Ag2O

Chemistry
1 answer:
Ivahew [28]3 years ago
3 0

Answer:

0.372 mol (corr. to 3 sig. fig.)

Explanation:

no. of mole of Ag₂O

= mass of Ag₂O ÷ relative atomic mass of Ag₂O

= 43.1 ÷ ( 107.9 × 2 + 16 )

≈ 0.185936151 mol

∵ Ratio of Ag:Ag₂O = 2:1

∴ no. of mole of Ag

= no. of mole of Ag₂O × 2

≈ 0.371872303 mol

= 0.372 mol (corr. to 3 sig. fig.)

How does the photoelectric effect show that light has some properties of a stream of particles.
Oliga [24]
The photoelectric effect supports a particle theory of light in that it behaves like an elastic collision (one that conserves mechanical energy) between two particles, the photon of light and the electron of the metal.

ziro4ka [17]
Answer: A) can form hydrogen bonds.

Water has a high heat capacity. Water is also a good solvent since many things, mostly polar chemical compound, that can be dissolved using it. Water is definitely polar. Water structure is well known to be like "Mickey mouse", causing it to have a more positive pole at the side with Mickey's ears.
Water has hydrogen bond that was causing it has a high boiling point.
