Images that you see in your peripheral vision are not as sharp as those directly in front of you because: there is a higher conc

entration of cone cells in the center of the retina in an area called the fovea. there are fewer rod cells in areas of the retina where images from the periphery are focused. the lens cannot focus images well on areas of the retina where images from the periphery are projected. the rod cells in the periphery are sensitive to blue and green light only.

Answer:

The correct answer is ''there is a higher concentration of cone cells in the center of the retina in an area called the fovea.''

Explanation:

The fovea, the central area of the macula, is the area of the retina where the vision of details is the most accurate. It is located in the extension of the optic axis of the eye. The fovea is populated only with cones, and allows us the best optical resolution, the field of vision that occurs around the central focus / outside the center of the field of vision (fovea) is known as peripheral vision, it is related to the location and recognition of the visual information that is around the object on which we fix our attention. That is, it is one that uses the peripheral area of the retina and that gives rise to the field of vision that surrounds the point where the sight is fixed / allows us to see the environment that surrounds us in a general way.

Which of the choices below is the parent cell for all formed elements of blood?
Ostrovityanka [42]

Answer:

The hemocytoblast (option B) are the parent cell for all formed elements of blood

Explanation:

All blood cells are originated from a common stem cell, which is called a pluripotent stem cell. It is capable of giving rise to any of the blood cells maintaining its existence through mitosis. By dividing pluripotent stem cells, new cells are originated, which become multipotent and differentiate into lymphoid (NK cell and the polymorphonuclear cell) or myeloid cells (megakaryocite); always respecting the original quantity.

in bacterial cells dividing cell into two control the number of chromosomes in cell in if binary fission takes long time the chromosome of bacteria will replicate again and cell will contain 3 chromosomes from main chromosome but in eukaryotic cell there is inhibition after dna replication that avoid cell to do that

Vedmedyk [2.9K]

As we have studied in junior classes that all animals including bacteria contain a plasma membrane around their cell which controls the movement of water and materials to and from the cell.

The bacteria are the main hazard in pesticides and if we study about its structure, it contains both cell membrane and cell wall. Now another point in that bacteria lives in a moist or hypotonic environment in which the concentration of water inside the cell is less than the concentration of water outside the cell. This results in more movement of water from outside to inside the cell since we know that water moves from a place of higher concentration to a place of lower concentration.

Now when the water moves inside the bacterial cell, it can burst bacterial cell but thanks to the presence of cell wall which donot lets the burst caused.

So coming towards sugar solution, when bacteria are dipped in dilute sugary , the outside environment around a cell is sugary, and the concentration of water in the solution is less than inside the cell and water tends to leave the cell. the major effect of sugary solution is that it withdraws water from inside the body of micro organisms if the external concentration of sugar is high enough. When the water will move out of their body, they will die and their spores will not be able to germinate too.

This will eventually make our food (vegetable, fruit or any other) clean.

Hope it helps!
