Your answer should be (-4,4). You would multiply the top row by 2 and the bottom one by -3 to get the y’s the same (both would be 6y) then from there solve for x. once you have x plug in for y.
Answer:
The correct answer would be D. y+2=1/2(x+3)
Step-by-step explanation:
Point slope form can be written as y-y1=m(x-x1)
Since m is slope, we can see from the equation in slope intercept form that the slope is 1/2, so we can insert that into our equation. The rest is simply the process of inserting the values from the point on the graph into the equation.
Since y1=-2, we could put that as y--2 or y+2, since negatives cancel out.
Then we can replace x1 with -3, resulting in x--3 or x+3.
So our resulting equation is:
D.y+2=1/2(x+3)
Hope this helps!
Ok so I don't really know how to explain this well except that you have to mess around with the numbers to see what divides to 43. I tried things like 103÷7, and 107÷3. It's a little bit easier since you can't divide by zero (so don't try something like 731÷0) and if you divide by one, you'll just get the same answer (like 307÷1=307) . This eliminates a lot of your number combinations.
I found out that 301÷7 gives you the magic number of ...43!!! I hope this makes sense to you, if it doesn't, let me know :D.
