Answer:

0.0594 = 5.94% probability of rain on November 1 and 2, but not on November 3.

Step-by-step explanation:

Rain on November 1:

0.9 of 0.6(rain on Oct 31).

0.3 of 0.4(not rain on Oct 31).

Rain on November 2:

Considering rain on November 1, 0.9 probability of rain.

Rain on November 3:

Considering rain on November 2, 0.1 probability of rain.

Find the probability of rain on November 1 and 2, but not on November 3.

Multiplicating the probabilities:

p = (0.9*0.6+0.3*0.4)*0.9*0.1 = 0.0594

0.0594 = 5.94% probability of rain on November 1 and 2, but not on November 3.

This problem really confuses me, help?
OLga [1]
So k in the first problem would =1/2
and i guess in the second problem just put k in place of the first space and in the second space put 8 for x. y would then =4. Idk if I did this right, though, I'm honestly a little confused too.

The product of 3p and q - 3.
shusha [124]
The product of 3p and q-3 would be put in to equation form like this: 3p(q-3)

To find your answer. You have to distribute the 3p to by individually multiplying it by q and -3

It should now look like this: 3pq -9p

So your answer is: 3pq -9p

GREYUIT [131]
Choice 1
Choice 1 and 3 shows parallel, choice 2 and 4 shows perpendicular. So cross out choices 2 and 4. We’re left with choices 1 and 3. I would go with choice 1 since choice 3 shows RAY A is parallel to RAY B, which isn’t true, they’re not parallel.
