Besides playing various roles in daily life, technology also plays roles in preventing and treating different diseases. Flu can be prevented by the use of technology in several ways:

Use of web to find out latest vaccines and their availability: Vaccines for flu also called flu shots are recommended by doctors in order t stay away from flu as much as possible, web services are efficient source in this regard that help to search for available vaccines and trend of flue in particular areas.

Quicker diagnostic results: Technology has developed such rapid diagnostic tests that give results within minutes. Like screening test for qualitative analysis of flu have been made and such tests have been developed that are easy to carry out just by single nasal swab.

Air filters and UV bulbs: To prevent the germs inside the home or closed environment, use of air filters like HEPA filter and UV light is trending. HEPA (high efficiency particulate air) filter the air at great extent thus preventing the germs to spread, and UV light has characteristic to be antimicrobial so it is also installed to kill pathogenic microbes.
