Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Ok, so remember your order of operations here.

Also, Remember that what we do to one side, we must do to the other side.

We cant solve whats in the parentheses, so that wont come first. The next best thing is the multipication of 0.8 in front of it:

0.8x(2x-4)

=

1.6x-3.2

Now lets rewrite the equation as:

1.6x-3.2=16

Now lets simply solve the rest:

1.6x=19.2

All I did is add 3.2 to both sides so I could get 1.6x on its own.

What is left is just dividing 1.6x to get 1x:

1.6x/1.6=19.2/1.6

This gets us:

x=12

This is because we divided 1.6 from both sides so that 1.6x became just x.

Answer:

<u>12</u>

Hope this helps!

What is the area of the parallelogram?<br> 15 cm<br> 21 cm<br> 20 cm
padilas [110]

Answer:

Its either 300 or 315

Step-by-step explanation:

Mainly because 20 ×15= 300 but the triangles on the side, I can't figure it out. I eliminated 82 and 420, 420 mainly because I got it wrong and 82 doesn't make sense.

Answer:

\tan(51°)  =  \frac{10}{x}  \\x =  \frac{10}{ \tan(51°) }  \\ x = \frac{10}{1.235}  \\ \boxed{ x = 8.1}

<h3>★ Value of x is <u>8.1</u>.</h3>

\sin(51°)=  \frac{10}{H}  \\ h =  \frac{10}{ \sin(51°) }  \\ H=  \frac{10}{0.777}  \\  \boxed{H= 12.8676}

<h3>★ Value of H is <u>12.8676</u>.</h3>

Point A is located at (-2, 2), and point M is located at (1,0). If point M is the midpoint of AB, find the location of point B.
bezimeni [28]

Answer:

B. B = (4,-2)

Step-by-step explanation:

GIven that A = (-2, 2) and M = (1, 0), and that point M is the midpoint of AB, the midpoint can be determined as a vectorial sum of A and B. That is:

M = \frac{1}{2}\cdot A + \frac{1}{2}\cdot B

The location of B is now determined after algebraic handling:

\frac{1}{2}\cdot B = M - \frac{1}{2}\cdot A

B = 2\cdot M -A

Then:

B = 2\cdot (1,0)-(-2,2)

B = (2\cdot 1, 2\cdot 0)-(-2,2)

B = (2,0) -(-2,2)

B = (4,-2)

Which corresponds to option B.

Is y=4x+3 a one step or a two step problem
Hunter-Best [27]

Answer:

y=4x-3

then add 3 to each side to get: y+3=4x.

Next, just divide both sides by 4 to get x = (y+3)\div4.
