F(x) also means substitute the x

Not rly sure about g(x) but a teacher told me it is almost the same because it is just substitute.

F(x)=2x^2+6x-8

G(x)=-3x-3

So substitute 1 to the x’s

2(1)^2+6(1)-8

-3(1)-3

I will solve the first one first then next

2(1)^2+6(1)-8

First multiple

2+6-8

Next just solve that

ANWSER ONE IS ZERO

Next

-3(1)-3

Multiple

-3-3

Just solve it

ANWSER TWO IS -6

Nadia compares the weights, in grams, of some apples and oranges she find the median abs interquartile range of the weights.
choli [55]

Answer:

Apple

Orange

Step-by-step explanation:

Apple has the greater median with a median value of 150 which is more than that of orange at 130

The sample with the greater variability is the orange sample as the interquartile range value of 11 is greater Than 8 for Apple.

Yes it is possible, because of the greater variation on weight shown by the sample of oranges, then it could be possible.

HELP I REALLY NEED HELP
zepelin [54]

Answer: 72 inches squared

Step-by-step explanation:

So, the real floor of a classroom is 36 feet by 32 feet.

And the scale drawing, has length of the classroom equal to 9 inches.

What is the area in square inches of the floor in the scale drawing

1 foot = 12 inches

The length of the classroom, measured in feet, has been multiplied by 12, to get converted in inches. After that, it has been divided by a number, a proportion, to get to 9 inches.

36feet * 12 / x = 9 inches

432 inches / x = 9 inches

Now, to solve for x, we can cross-multiply

432 inches = 9x inches

Divide 9 inches on both sides.

x = 48

To solve the exercise, we need to calculate the floor's area in the scale drawing.

We have the length = 9 inches.

Now, let's calculate the width

Width = 32 feet * 12 / 48

Width = 384 inches / 48

Width = 8 inches

Area = Length * Width

Area = 9 inches * 8 inches

Area = 72 inches squared

Hope I helped!

Each statement describes a transformation of the graph of y = x2. Which statement correctly describes the graph of y = (x + 4)2
alina1380 [7]
 • Vertex Form: y=(x-h)^2+k , with (h,k) as the vertex.

So the new equation is in vertex form. And looking at this equation, we see the vertex as (-4,-7) (Remember that y = (x + 4)^2 - 7 can be also written as y = (x - (-4))^2 - 7).

Since negative x-coordinates go to the left on the x-axis and negative y-coordinates go down on the y-axis, your answer is going to be C. It is the graph of y = x^2 translated 7 units down and 4 units to the left.
