So lets say you sold ‘x’ number of oranges on Thursday.On Friday you sold double,therefore ‘2x’. And altogether combining the sales on Thursday and Friday you sold 108 oranges. Therefore if we add the number of oranges sold on Thursday and Friday we will get 108 oranges.
The equation will be: x(number of oranges sold on Thursday) + 2x( number of oranges sold on Friday) = 108 (total number of oranges sold altogether)
x + 2x = 108

Hope it helped! Please mark me as Brainliest!

Answer:

x + 2x = 108

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be the number of oranges sold on Thursday

The number of oranges sold on Friday is twice as many or 2 times x, 2x

The total sold on  the two days is 108.  Add the number sold on Thursday and Friday together and let it equal to 108

x + 2x = 108

Help please, I have no idea how to do this and I have a test on it tmrw!
aev [14]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

Supplementary means that 2 angles add up to 180 degrees.

If ACB and ACD are supplementary then they have to add up to 180 degrees.

We know that ACD is smaller than ACB and EGF is supplementary to the smaller of the two.

So then these two are supplementary.

If these are supplementary then the only reason i can think of is that they are supplementary or not. I recently had a test on this too and i may have failed. I have given you all the information i know. Sorry. If it is multiple choce then pick a random one. You may get it correct.

\dfrac{2}{3} \times  \dfrac{3}{4}  \times  \dfrac{1}{2}

Cancel out 2, the common factor for the numerator and denominator:

=  \dfrac{1}{3} \times  \dfrac{3}{4}  \times  \dfrac{1}{1}

Cancel out 3, the common factor for the numerator and denominator:

=  \dfrac{1}{1} \times  \dfrac{1}{4}  \times  \dfrac{1}{1}

Combine into single fraction:

=  \dfrac{1 \times 1 \times 1}{1 \times 4 \times 1 }  =  \dfrac{1}{4}

Answer:

Check below for the answers

Step-by-step explanation:

Note: The options are not clearly expressed but below are the correct  expressions for the trigonometric identities stated in the options.

Using the SOHCAHTOA principle

sin θ = Opposite / Hypotenuse

tan θ = opposite  / Adjacent

Cot θ = 1 / tan θ = Adjacent / Opposite

cos θ = Adjacent / Hypotenuse

Given the equation for the total surface area of a cylinder, solve for the height of the cylinder.
Tju [1.3M]

Answer:

Let S be the total surface area.  Then

h = ( S - 2 Pi r^2) / ( 2 Pi r)

Discussion:

Let S be the total surface area.  Then

S =                      2Pi r*h + 2 Pi r^2        => subtract 2 PI r^2 from both sides

S - 2 PI r^22 =   2 PI r*h                         => divide both sides by 2 PI r

h = ( S - 2 Pi r^2) / ( 2 Pi r)

Thank you,
