One spot on the microarray contains sequences unique to a gene for an RNA polymerase subunit. One spot contains sequences unique
AVprozaik [17]

Answer:

Skeletal muscle myosin gene

Explanation:

A microarray assay (also named DNA chip or biochip) is an approach used in molecular biology to detect simultaneously the expression level of hundreds of genes at the single-cell level. First, the complementary DNA (cDNA) sample is obtained from the total RNA sample. Subsequently, the cDNA is cut with restriction endonucleases and fluorophores are attached to them. Finally. the DNA fragments react with complementary known sequences (also known as probes) in order to identify by fluorescence the genes that are expressed in the sample.

Myosin is a superfamily of proteins responsible for generating the muscle contraction force both in animal and human muscle cells. In this case, the probe corresponds to the complementary sequence of the myosin gene, thereby the binding evidenced the expression of the myosin gene in the cDNA sample.

What is the difference between an inhibitory and an excitatory post synaptic potential?.
Fudgin [204]

An excitatory post synaptic potential has a reversal potential more positive than the action potential threshold, whereas an inhibitory post synaptic potential has a reversal potential more negative than threshold.

Excitatory postsynaptic potentials (EPSP) carry the neuron's potential closer to its volatile threshold. on the other hand Inhibitory postsynaptic potentials (IPSP) change the charge across the membrane to be further from the volatile threshold.

These potentials are also known as graded potential because their size or amplitude is directly proportional to the strength of the triggering event. Example include when large stimulus leads to the generation of a strong graded response and a small stimulus leads to the generation of a weak graded response.

How does a storm affect the quality of water in a river?
GalinKa [24]

Explanation:

. It is strongly impacted by runoff from rain events. This is easily observed by the eye during and after storms when streams and rivers are very cloudy and look brown. When it rains, the dirt, animal waste, and other contaminants that build up on the surface of the ground or pavement are washed off into the streams and rivers. Though there is more water in the streams and rivers during storms, there are more contaminants as well.

Nastasia [14]

Due, to know life on the moon there would be nothing to mess with the footprint, but the main reason why these footprints are going to last centuries is because "there is no weather." Since how there is no weather on the moon which means no wind there is no factors that could affect the footprint.

Hope this helps!
