Easy,

If one of the small rectangles area is 12 and its side length is 4..

12/4=3

So the length and width of the small <span>rectangle</span> are length=4 width=3.

For the NEW rectangle take..

12*6=72

That means the NEW rectangles Area is 72 sq. cm.

To find it's Perimeter...

For 1 small triangle take 3+3+4+4=14  (P=l+l+w+w)

Since there are 6 small rectangles take 14*6=84

Thus, the perimeter of the NEW rectangle is 84 cm.

All together the Area and Perimeter of the Rectangle is...

A= 72 sq cm
and
P=84 cm

What kind of variable is this: Rural, Semi-rural, Urban.
kvasek [131]

Answer: Qualititative, Nominal and Categorical

Explanation:

The variable is qualitative since it does not involve numerical data (i.e. numbers). Rather we're dealing with names or labels.

Since names or labels are involved, and there isn't really inherent order to them, we consider this qualitative data to be nominal.

We can also consider it categorical since each label is a category.

For 100 births, P(exactly girls) and P( or more girls). Is girls in 100 births a significantly high number of girls? Which
madreJ [45]

Answer;

The relevant probability is 0.136 so the value of 56 girls in 100 births is not a significantly high number of girls because the relevant probability is greater than 0.05

Step-by-step explanation:

The complete question is as follows;

For 100 births, P(exactly 56 girls = 0.0390 and P 56 or more girls = 0.136. Is 56 girls in 100 births a significantly high number of girls? Which probability is relevant to answering that question? Consider a number of girls to be significantly high if the appropriate probability is 0.05 or less V so 56 girls in 100 birthsa significantly high number of girls because the relevant probability is The relevant probability is 0.05

Solution is as follows;

Here. we want to know which of the probabilities is relevant to answering the question and also if 56 out of a total of 100 is sufficient enough to provide answer to the question.

Now, to answer this question, it would be best to reach a conclusion or let’s say draw a conclusion from the given information.

The relevant probability is 0.136 so the value of 56 girls in 100 births is not a significantly high number of girls because the relevant probability is greater than 0.05

From first principles, find the indicated derivatives
LenaWriter [7]

By definition of the derivative,

\displaystyle\frac{dr}{ds} = \lim_{h\to0} \frac{\left(\frac{(s + h)^3}2 + 1\right) - \left(\frac{s^3}2 + 1\right)}{h}

\displaystyle\frac{dr}{ds} = \lim_{h\to0} \frac{\left(\frac{s^3+3s^2h+3sh^2+h^3}2 + 1\right) - \left(\frac{s^3}2 + 1\right)}{h}

\displaystyle\frac{dr}{ds} = \lim_{h\to0} \frac{\frac{3s^2h+3sh^2+h^3}2}{h}

\displaystyle\frac{dr}{ds} = \lim_{h\to0} \frac12 \frac{3s^2h+3sh^2+h^3}{h}

\displaystyle\frac{dr}{ds} = \lim_{h\to0} \frac12 (3s^2+3sh+h^2)

\displaystyle\frac{dr}{ds} = \frac{3s^2}2
