The angles in a triangle always add up to 180°. to work out the third angle first you have to work out how many ° the angles that you already know add up to. in this case you already have the angles 23° and 35° which add up to the total of 58°. now to work out the third angle you have to subtract the total ° of the other angles from 180 because remember the angles in a triangle always add up to 180°. 180-58= 122 which mean that the third angle is 122<span>°. i hope this helped</span>

Find the value of x.<br> A) 21 <br> B) 27 <br> C) 31 <br> D) 34
Ivahew [28]

The 2 angles given are vertical angles, which mean they are the same.

So we have: 3x +1 = 64

Subtract 1 from each side:

3x = 63

Divide both sides by 3:

X = 63 / 3

X = 21

The answer is A.

The admission fee at the steamboat springs hot air balloon festival is $1.50 for children and $4.00 for adults. On a certain day
GaryK [48]

Answer:

Number of child tickets =  800

Number of adult tickets = 330

Step-by-step explanation:

Let c = number of child tickets

and  a= the number of adult tickets.

We are given:

The admission fee at the steamboat springs hot air balloon festival is $1.50 for children and $4.00 for adults.

On a certain day, 1,130 enter the festival and 2, 520 is collected.

Making equations:

c+a=1130 (because total people entered are 1130, so adding number of adult and child tickets will give us total number of people)

1.50c+4.00a=2520  (because total money collected is 2520, so adding coat of adult and child tickets will give us total money)

Now, solving these equations simultaneously, we can find values of x and y

Let:

c+a=1130--eq(1)\\1.50c+4.00a=2520--eq(2)

From equation 1 find value of c and put it in eq(2)

c+a=1130\\c=1130-a

Putting value of c in eq(2)

1.50c+4.00a=2520\\Put\:c=1130-a\\1.5(1130-a)+4a=2520\\1695-1.5a+4a=2520\\-1.5a+4a=2520-1695\\2.5a=825\\a=\frac{825}{2.5}\\a=330

So, we get value of a = 330

Now, punting value of a in eq(1) to get value of c

c+a=1130\\c+330=1130\\c=1130-330\\c=800

So, we get value of c = 800

Therefore:

Number of child tickets = c= 800

Number of adult tickets = a = 330

given that u=(-3,4) and vector v has an initial point of (7,0) and a terminal point of (-5,2), find 2v-3u and express your answe
Serjik [45]

Answer:

\vec r = -42\cdot i  + 14\cdot j

Step-by-step explanation:

The resultant vector is calculated as follows:

\vec r = 2\cdot (-3,4) + 3\cdot (-5-7,2-0)

\vec r = (-6, 8) + 3\cdot (-12,2)

\vec r = (-6,8) + (-36,6)

\vec r = (-42, 14)

The answer as a linear combination of i and j is:

\vec r = -42\cdot i  + 14\cdot j
