The solution of this question will make use of the Two Tangents from Point Theorem which states that "the measure of an angle formed by two tangents drawn from a point outside the circle is half the the difference of the intercepted arcs".

We can also see that the measure of arcs are: \overarc{XWZ}=245^{\circ} and\overarc{XZ}=115^{\circ}

Thus, as per the theorem, the measure of the \angle XYZ can be calculated as:

m\angle XYZ=\frac{1}{2}(\overarc{XWZ}- \overarc{XZ})

Therefore, we get:

m\angle XYZ=\frac{1}{2}(245^{\circ} -115^{\circ})

Thus, out of the given options, option B is the correct option.

9x+3y=18 whats is the equation when solved for y
lidiya [134]

Answer:

y=6-3x

Step-by-step explanation:

first subtract 9x from 9x+3y=18

                                   -9x       -9x

so you get 3y=18-9x or 3y=-9x+18 then divide both sides by 3

so you get y=6-3x hope this helps :)

<h3>✒️EVALUATION </h3>

\large\sf\underline{Problem:}

What is the product of (2x-7) and (3x + 3)?

  • A. 6x2 + 15x-21
  • B. 6x2 - 15x - 21
  • C. 6x2 + 15x + 21
  • D. 6x2 - 15x + 21

==================================

\large\sf\underline{Answer:}

\qquad \qquad \huge \rm Letter\:B.

*Please read and understand my solution. Don't just rely on my direct answer*

==================================

\large\sf\underline{Solution:}

Here we have the given choices:

  • A. 6x2 + 15x-21
  • B. 6x2 - 15x - 21
  • C. 6x2 + 15x + 21
  • D. 6x2 - 15x + 21

Solve this equation using the distributive property,where you multiply each term to get the number.

\begin{gathered} \rm2x - 7 = \boxed{ 6} \: \bigg| \small\boxed{\: 6 {x}^{2} } \\ \rm (7)(3) = \boxed{21} \bigg | \boxed{\: 21 x} \\ \\ \qquad \rm6x^{2}+(6x- 21x)-21 \\ \qquad \boxed{ \rm6 {x}^{2} + 15x - 21}\end{gathered}

Therefore, the correct option is letter B.
